With that in mind, I decided to use some of my homemade pumpkin puree to add some extra veggies into our french toast breakfast.
This is another very simple recipe, involving only 6 ingredients.
I like to add some vanilla sugar or some kind of sweetener to give the toasts a little bit of sweetness.
The first thing you have to do is mix all the ingredients in a bowl except for the bread. Then heat up the frying and add butter. Then just dip the bread in and cook as you normally would make french toast.
My kids kept coming back for more, probably because they were eating these with nutella and whipped cream....hahaha....but I'm not complaining because I know that they got some veggies out of it as well :)
